February 9, 2010toFebruary 10, 2010

Delaware’s statewide GIS conference is set for February 9 and 10, 2010, and the conference planning subcommittee is looking for ideas for content for this gathering of our GIS tribe.Delaware GIS Conference Word Cloud

The conference will include a day of workshops, on February 9, and a day of plenary and breakout sessions, on February 10. Both days’ activities will take place at the Sheraton Conference Center in Dover, Delaware.

The subcommittee is now accepting abstracts for presentations and panel discussions for the breakout sessions on February 10.
The conference theme — Think Spatially, Connect/Act/Lead Globally — highlights the connected nature of the physical world, as reflected in the geospatial data we all share. It also celebrates the importance of the GIS Community as a network of professionals who work together, develop and share data, and support each others efforts to serve our clients and constituents.

The conference planning subcommittee is looking for content ideas that reflect the conference theme, but abstracts focused on any issues and aspects of the GIS community are welcome.
