A draft agenda (PDF) has been posted for the first quarterly meeting of the Delaware Geographic Data Committee (DGDC) for 2010. The DGDC will meet on Thursday, March 25, starting at 9:00 a.m. in Room 220 of the Kent County Administration Center, at 555 Bay Avenue, in Dover.
The agenda includes reports from the standing committees of the DGDC and updates from the USGS and from the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC). There will be a report on the the current strategic planning project being undertaken by the DGDC Executive Council and on Delaware’s part in the national broadband mapping project. And there will be an update on plans for orthophotography collection this year and next.
There will also be a call for nominations for the annual elections, to be held at the second quarterly meeting (June 24), for DGDC representatives to the Executive Council.
Because of the number of other meetings planned at the Kent County Administration Center on the same day, our generous hosts at the county have asked that we park in the parking lot on the southeast corner of the Kent County Administration Center — to your right as you enter the property.
