The 2010 Delaware-Maryland APA Regional Conference will feature a pair of intensive training sessions focused on the use of GIS and geospatial tools in local, county and state government planning and other management functions. A morning workshop on May 5 will focus on GIS applications within the City of Dover, Delaware, while an afternoon session that same day will focus on GIS applications within Maryland.
The conference — Creating Liveable Communities For All Ages: From Theory To Reality — will run from May 5 through May 7 at the Rollins Conference Center at Dover Downs, in Dover, Delaware. It is co-sponsored by the Delaware and Maryland chapters of the American Planning Association, by AIA Delaware, and by AARP Delaware.
